FAQ
Questions, answered.
Where do you officiate?
I'm based on Long Island and primarily serve Nassau and Suffolk County. I'm happy to travel further for the right ceremony — just reach out and we can talk logistics.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as you have a date and venue, even if the rest of the details aren't final. That said, if your date is coming up soon, reach out anyway — I'll do my best to make it work.
Can you write a custom ceremony, or do we have to use a template?
Every ceremony I write is custom. We'll talk through your story before I write a word, and you'll get a chance to review and request changes before the day.
Do you handle religious, secular, or mixed ceremonies?
All of the above. Tell me what matters to you — religious, spiritual, secular, or a mix — and the ceremony will reflect it.
Are you comfortable officiating any couple?
Yes — every couple is welcome, regardless of background or who you love.
What about the marriage license?
You'll need to get your marriage license from a New York county clerk's office before the ceremony. I'll walk you through the process and timing when we talk.
Do you attend the rehearsal?
For full wedding ceremonies, yes — a rehearsal walkthrough is included if your venue schedules one.
What if it rains or plans change?
Let me know as early as possible and we'll adjust — for outdoor ceremonies, it's worth having a backup location or time in mind.
How do we book?
Fill out the request form on the Contact page with your date and a bit about your ceremony, and I'll follow up to confirm details and next steps.
